Tourism 21 is a strategic business plan to improve the performance, competitiveness and structural efficiency of Tasmania's tourism industry.

Tourism Tasmania and the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT ) prepare three-year plans as part of the ongoing review of the successful Tourism 21 strategic plan that has guided industry development since 1997.

Tourism Tasmania and the industry  work together to promote and enhance the precious natural and historic heritage of Tasmania.

 The Australian Hotels Association/Restaurant and Catering Association (Tasmanian Branch),  produces a substantial bi-monthly magazine to communicate industry specific news and services.

This quarterly snapshot provides the latest trends and statistics on interstate, international, and intrastate visitation in Tasmania, as well as information on preference and intention to visit Tasmania.
